It's possible to change the referrer meta field manually?

Problem
I can't find a way to change the referrer meta field. My app lives inside an iframe and I need to pass a parent window URL instead of the iframe URL. It's a problem because that link is present in notifications.

Solution
Introduce an API function for updating the current URL or the ability to disable showing a referrer in notifications.
