On Tag creation, GitHub creating new branch since June 28

Since June 28, when we are creating tag from GitHub UI, GitHub is generating a new branch with same tag name. When we create tag from GitHub UI, Travis CI it starts build process which is integrated with GitHub. So, when we are creating release tag like v24.9.2 from GitHub UI, it is generating two reference for tag.

• First https://github.com/reponame/tree/v24.9.2
• Second https://github.com/reponame/releases/tag/v24.9.2

Previously on tag creation only second repo URL were executing in Travis CI, now both first and second start build process simultaneously and Travis CI failed with error message
[remote rejected] v24.9.2-build -> v24.9.2-build (failed to update ref)
We didn't make any change in GitHub action or webhook & it is happening suddenly. is there any change can we make to stop this behavior? Thanks.
