Hi
I'm using VSCodium 1.90.2 on a MacBook Pro with M1 Pro CPU (Apple silicon). I downloaded the latest VSIX file for GitHub copilot chat from https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=GitHub.copilot-chat -> https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/_apis/public/gallery/publishers/GitHub/vsextensions/copilot-chat/0.17.2024062801/vspackage (version 0.17.2024062801).
When I try to install the extension, I get an error:
It says: Extension "github.copilot-chat" cannot be installed, as it is incompatible with VS Code 1.90.2 (BTW: how would I switch VS Codium / VS Code UI to English…?).
Version information from VSCodium:
Edit: Another piece of information: I have the normal Copilot extension installed as well. I am logged in to my GitHub account and have a license. When I click on the Copilot icon on the lower right hand side and select "GitHub Copilot Chat", nothing happens.
Well — what to do?
Diagnostics from Copilot:
