Not generating

I've disabled my anti-virus software and have checked the directory thoroughly, but I'm not seeing the file generate. I'm starting to wonder if I'm looking in the wrong place. Could you please clarify where I should be looking or what directory I should be in to access the file? I've tried searching everywhere, but it seems to be nowhere to be found. Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

did it say that it was successful? then the executable will be in your 'dist' folder

If you are using a virtual machine to do the compiling, you need to get rid of the functions in protections.py and have them return false. That solved it when I was compiling the executable!
